Overall description of the job
Ensures the company’s purchasing and procurement process in an effective way, according to the corporate strategies and rules, negotiating purchasing on behalf of the company in the absence of a framework agreement centrally determined.
Role responsibilities:
Purchasing Orders Management
Manages Purchasing orders for the company, verifying master data management, receiving information on purchase order (plan, confirmation requisitions, etc.) expediting and rescheduling activities, delivery issue and controlling purchase order a trend deviation on quantity and price.
Suppliers Management
Continually scouting new suppliers in order to contact and approve new suppliers. Monitors the capacity of suppliers in terms of availability and reliability of orders confirmation. Reviews the qualifications of new suppliers to ensure they meet the requirements of the project specifications and quality standards
Cost optimization
Manage the expediting process keeping strict control on costs and saving expectations, suggest low cost local alternatives for commercial parts to engineering department for technical evaluation and arrange on site surveys of suppliers made by buyers, find local suitable suppliers.
System
Responsible of the respect of delivery term and accuracy of the delivery date into system. Manage any procurement activities including RFP’s (Request for Proposals) process and outputs properly.
