Mine Engineering – SPV Long Term and short Term Planning

Job Description

Coal Mining Engineering Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient execution of engineering operations within the coal mining project. Key responsibilities include:

1.     Developing and optimizing short-term, medium-term, and long-term mine plans, focusing on operational efficiency and maximizing resource recovery.

2.     Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including geology, production, and engineering, to ensure the mine plan aligns with business goals.

3.     Conducting regular assessments and adjustments to mine plans to address changing conditions and improve productivity.

4.     Ensuring compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.

5.     Utilizing advanced mine planning software to create detailed and accurate plans.

6.     Managing and mentoring the mine planning team to enhance their technical capabilities and performance.

7.     Preparing detailed reports and presentations for senior management regarding mine performance and future strategies.

8.  Plan & implement mine engineering plans, including design, scheduling, and production optimization coal Mining operation.

9.   Managing and supervising daily coal mining operations to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Conducting technical assessments and feasibility studies for new and existing projects Long Term and short Term Planning

10.   Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness Long Term and short Term Planning

11.   Implementing best practices in mine planning, equipment utilization, and infrastructure development –coal mining operation.

12.   Ensuring all engineering activities align with corporate objectives and government regulations.

13.   Providing mentorship and technical, production operation to crew of engineers and field team Long Term and short Term Planning

Qualification & Experience

     a. S-1 in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field.

b. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mine engineering, especially in coal mining operations

c. Pengawas Operasi Ptartam (POP) certified

d. Strong knowledge of mining software (e.g., Surpac, Minex, Minescape) and engineering principles.

e. Familiarity with Indonesian mining laws and safety regulations.

f. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a hands-on approach to operational challenges Long Term and short Term Planning.

g. Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of working in a team-oriented environment.

i.       Willingness to be based in remote site locations as required.
