As the Logistics Supervisor/Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operations of our Logistics Unit team, ensuring compliance with customs regulations. Your duties will include:

1. Strategic Oversight: Manage and implement the strategic direction of the Logistics Unit, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
2. Operational Excellence: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Logistics Unit, optimizing processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to customs regulations and international trade laws, mitigating risks and maintaining compliance standards.
4. Document Management: Manage the inbound documents and outbound documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
5. Team Leadership: Inspire and mentor a high-performing team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
6. Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customs authorities, freight forwarders, and vendors, to drive seamless coordination and communication.
7. Problem-Solving: Act as the primary point of contact for resolving complex logistics issues and challenges, leveraging expertise to find thorough solutions.
8. Technology Integration: Harness the power of technology to streamline logistics processes and leverage IT solutions to automate tasks.
9. Performance Monitoring: Implement performance metrics and KPIs to track and evaluate the effectiveness of logistics operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.

Job Requirements 

To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in logistics or equivalent field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Logistics, preferably managing import/export processes. 
3. Completion of Customs Courses and possession of relevant certificates are advantageous, e.g., PPJK/Pengusaha Pengurusan Jasa Kepabeanan (Customs Brokerage Service Providers certification).
4. Understanding of international trade and customs processes.
5. Demonstrated a high level of integrity and committed to compliance with domestic and foreign laws and regulations.
6. Experience with a customs broker, freight forwarder, or company with international trade preferred.
7. Willingness and availability to work extended hours as required.
8. Good English language skills.
