What you’ll be doing

Provide accurate and professional Mandarin to Indonesian and Indonesian to Mandarin translation services for a variety of business documents, including contracts, reports, and correspondence
Assist in the interpretation of meetings, presentations, and other business discussions between Chinese and Indonesian colleagues
Ensure the consistent use of terminology and linguistic style across all translated materials
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand context and requirements for each translation project
Proofread and edit translations to maintain the highest quality standards
Stay up-to-date with changes in language, industry terminology, and best translation practices

What we’re looking for

Fluency in both Mandarin, English and Indonesian, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, translation studies, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of professional translation experience, preferably in a business or corporate setting
Strong research and problem-solving skills to handle complex technical and specialised content
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality translations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of computer-assisted translation tools and software is an advantage
