Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join our tutoring team. The ideal candidate should be able to explain chemical concepts clearly, engage students effectively, and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Chemistry to middle and high school students.

• Prepare lesson materials, worksheets and practice exercises.

• Assess students’ progress and provide feedback to parents.

• Help students develop strong conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.

• Support students in exam preparation (school exams, IGCSE, A-Level, IB, AP, etc).

• Maintain a positive and motivating learning environment.

Requirements

• Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field from a reputable university.

• Overseas graduates are preferred.

• Possess a strong understanding of core Chemistry concepts (Organic and Inorganic Chemistry).

• Possess good communication and teaching skills.

• Demonstrate strong English proficiency and the capacity to deliver lessons confidently in English.

• Possess at least 2 years of teaching experience in a school or a similar tutoring center.

• Show a high level of responsibility towards teaching and students’ academic progress.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with IB DP, IB MYP, AP Chemistry, Cambridge IGCSE, and Cambridge A-Level curricula.

• Ability to teach multiple grade levels.

• Familiarity with online teaching tools such as Zoom or Google Meet.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday from 2:30 pm to 9:30 pm, Friday from 2:30 pm to 8:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
