Sintesa Green Paper is a joint venture between Sintesa Group from Indonesia and JJ Green Paper from America. Sintesa Group is a 100+ year old strategic investment company with 15+ subsidiaries broken down into 4 pillars- Property, Consumer Products, Energy and Industrial Products. JJ Green Paper has developed a breakthrough compound to be coated on the water-resistant paper and paper packaging without the use of toxic petroleum-based products, making it environmentally sustainable and cost efficient.

Responsibilities:

• Managing all phases in the setting up of new chemical plant to ensure on-time execution, within scope and within budget; from conceptual, basic engineering, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, commissioning and training.
• Monitoring and managing the overall chemical plant operations, including PPIC, production, QA/QC, maintenance, supply chain, and HSE.
• Plan day to day and control the strategies, budgets, production schedules, along with resource allocation and machine loading for optimum output.
• Forecast the annual budget and continuously review the budget of the daily operations. Ensure cost effectiveness on operations and optimize plant operations.
• Lead and drive continuous improvement in productivity and ensure HSE excellence. Identify opportunities to manufacture efficiently at cost-effective level by increasing productivity, efficiency, debottlenecking processes and implement innovation in the production floor. Oversee quality management and identify areas for improvement. Explore the possibility to incorporate the new technology for process improvement and new operations.
• Plan and control, effecting predictive and preventive maintenance schedules for various machineries and equipment to increase machine up-time and reliability.
• Set up and maintain an effective compliance system of control to ensure that operations operate within the local regulatory framework and contractual requirements.

Qualifications:

• Graduate / Post graduate in Engineering preferably Mechanical or Chemical
• Experience: 15+ years relevant experience in project management for a manufacturing business.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both in oral and in writing.
• Extensive experience in general management, plant management, financial controlling, manufacturing, engineering and supply chain in the chemicals industry.
• Broad knowledge of the health, safety, environmental, and transportation regulations of hazardous chemicals.
• Proven skills in multi-national matrix, JV, and traditional organizations.
