Responsibilities:

– Investigate accidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine their root causes and develop preventative measures

– Evaluate potential hazards in the workplace and provide recommendations for their detection and elimination

– Recommend and implement procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and prevent accidents

– Conduct facility inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure safety equipment is in place and functional

– Prepare and present reports on accident investigations and workshop inspections

Requirements:

– Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Environment/Environmental Health Engineering, Workplace Safety and Health, or a related field

– AK3U Certification, First Aider Certification, and Hazard Investigation training are required

– Strong technical knowledge in safety, health, and environmental management, with familiarity in ISO 9001, OHSAS, and other relevant standards

– Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively train and motivate employees

– Proven experience in a manufacturing company, with a solid understanding of the industry’s safety requirements

– Proficiency in hazard identification, monitoring and inspection, report and document preparation, fire fighting, and accident investigation techniques
