Job Title: IT Manager – Retail Groceries
Level: Manager
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage daily IT operations of the retail grocery stores, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
2. Oversee inventory management, supply chain coordination, and store-level operations to ensure products are stocked, displayed, and sold efficiently.
3. Utilize your hands-on experience with Linux systems to manage and troubleshoot any technical issues related to store operations.
4. Use SQL databases to analyze and report on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators to inform decision-making and optimize store performance.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new processes and technologies that enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency.
6. Lead, mentor, and develop store managers and staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
7. Understand and apply best practices in retail grocery management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
2. Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems and SQL databases.
3. In-depth understanding of retail grocery business processes, including inventory management, supply chain, and customer service.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
7. Proven experience in a leadership role within the retail grocery industry.
