Job Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage the school’s payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Calculate and record employee salaries, deductions, and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant payroll laws, regulations, and policies.

  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to appropriate departments.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and best practices.
  • Assist in the preparation of payroll-related reports for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll information.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a payroll specialist or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex).
  • Familiarity with relevant payroll laws and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of school policies and procedures is a plus.
